What is Residue Fuel Oil?

The residue fuel oils namely Furnace oil, Low Sulfur High Stock (LSHS) & Light Diesel Oil (LDO) are the residual products obtained at the bottom of crude distillation unit. They are essentially highly viscous and semi solid to solid at room temperature with High conradson Carbon residue CCR which pose problem during the combustion. They are blend of distillate fuels and residues like poly aromatics, Wax and asphaltenes with very high carbon to Hydrogen ratio.

Why Fuel Additive?

With advance in petroleum Technology yield of more commercially valuable Products like Gasoline, Diesel etc. is increasing everyday to augment the market demands. Extraction of light oil fraction results in increase of viscosity and percentage of inorganic Impurities in Residue fuel oil .From last decade quality of residue oil is decreasing continuously but our existing boilers are not designed to burn such poor quality of fuel oil. Most of asphaltenes contain carbon to an extent of 82 +3 and Hydrogen to 8.1+7 that is Carbon to Hydrogen ratio is more than 9 which pose serious problem during combustion process.

What does BIO – FOR – 500 Contain?

A Perfect product for touch less operation from manufacturers of products for increased Productivity and profits. BIO-FOR-500 is a liquid blend of bio surfactants and anti oxidants with specialty Bio Chemicals to enhance the combustion efficiency.

What does reduction in surface tension means?

a. Reduction in oil droplet size from 100-200 microns to 20-50 microns.
b. Surface volume higher by 20%.
c. Enabling oxygen to envelop the oil molecules completely i.e. more intimate mixing of fuel vapors and oxygen.
d. Higher degree of combustion efficiency

  • Dosage And Feeding

    Dosage : 500 ppm i.e. 1 litre of Bio-FOR-500 to 2KL of residue fuel oil.

    Feeding : It is advised that BIO-FOR-500 be added to the main storage tank Just before fresh fuel is transformed to it because the agitation caused by the transfer of oil is good enough for the BIO- FOR-500 to get homogeneously mixed in the fuel oil.

    Packing : Minimum 20 litre i.e. Carton containing 4 HDPE cans of 5 Litre each.

    Handling : Reasonable care should be exercised while handling this product.
    Avoid breathing vapors and direct contact with eyes.
    Don’t take internally.
